When I first saw the cover of this catalog, I knew I had to try it. My scrapmate, Linda and I had both decided we were going to make this. It is really sweet and I had never really made a rosette before or used any tulle in anything other than to wrap up a few nuts. This was a great learning experience for me. When I first got the stuff it was 10 am on Aug. 3rd and not a lot of directions to be found on how to make it. I had no idea how to put it together and then I found a youtube that was wonderful. I want to thank StampingSchool for the great video. I made a few changes because I am not a Stampin Up girl so I had to use all my Close To My Heart stuff to put it together. I did love the dies and stamps. I think my favorite look on this set is the white border around the image. Anyway, I might make a few more, they are so much fun.
Paper Arts, Card Making, Scrapbook Elements and wonderful items I find to glue to paper.

Stampin Up Cover Inspiration
When I first saw the cover of this catalog, I knew I had to try it. My scrapmate, Linda and I had both decided we were going to make this. Special effects on the camera.
I'm going to post the other three ornaments I made. I am having so much fun with these. I have my family here so it is harder to find time to blog but these little ornaments need to be shown.
Inspired by the SU holiday catalog
I ended up in a cold sweat after seeing the ornament on the mini, or not so mini holiday catalog from Stampin up. It was so much fun to try because there was not a lot of instructions out there. A few of my scrapbook mates had decided we were going to make it no matter what. I'm an old pro now with more than three under my belt. Lol.

Getting Older birthday card.
This card is made with Close To My Heart Paper. The little crochet flower is also CTMH. I used the Imaginisce Petal Roller tool to burnish the paper flowers. This made them 3D. First do the petals and the center. Then turn the flowers over and just do the tips of the flowers to turn the tips back. Turn over one more time and do the center of the flowers. Go easy if the paper is thin. Beneath is the inside of the card

Inside of Piggy card. Front-N-Back
Ok, first of all I need to say I have a working camera now. Sorry for the delay in postings but I was having problems with my old camera. NowI need to get back to posting more. I have also been working on some Zentangles which I will start posting soon. This is the second part of the front and back set. YOU can either use this for the front or back but my thoughts is there is more of an impact or a laugh on the inside. I used copic markers to color them in. Again the stamp set is item number UMU1719. It is Art Impressions unmounted repositionable cushion Pig Front & Back.
Front Pig
This card was stamped with Art Impressions unmounted Front-N-Back stamps. This set comes with two stamps. Front and back shot of the pig and the back is all the animals on the farm helping him look out the window. The set has so many possibilities for birthday or friendship. The set number is UMU1719. I will post the back side next. This is a cute idea. I colored these with copic markers.

Sweet Evie 2011
This is the first Scrapbook page I have made not only this year but in a log time. I am working on my scraproom area which I feel is coming along. I will post pictures soon. I have used this picture in the past but I really love it and wanted to use it one more time. She just looks so sweet is it. Paper is textured CTMH, CTMH Twill ribbon. The sugar is from Michael's and the little spout if from my dish soap. Cascade complete is what I use.

The Little Black Box
These little boxes are from my husbands work. They have the new keys and a pen for each car they sell but they throw the box out. I love the boxes so my husband brings me home some every few weeks. It does have the name of his company on each box so it is a fun challenge to cover each one up. I used crackle paint on one and card stock on another that I ran thru the Cuttlebug. If anyone lives close I will give you some boxes.

My Little Helpers-Sakura Pens
Sakura pens have been my little helpers this holiday season to spice up my Christmas cards. I used them on the borders and in the veins of my doodled leaves. The copper star pen from the Jelly Roll ice cream smooth set was perfect to add some bling to my cards. These three sets along with the Spica from Copic are my favorite pens.
Christmas Cards from 2011
This year I want to learn how to blog more efficiently and how to upload pictures that are more bloglike. I also want to organize my scraproom and improve my food diet. These are some CTMH stamps and the bottom border is with my new CTMH ruler. It has the zigzag holes in the ruler so all you need to do is poke thru the paper. The best way to make it look like real sewing or floss is to use two different color pens. I use Sakura 3D pens. I use the Souffle going in one direction and then the Glaze in the opposite. Everyone thought I used thread. The sides was a zigzag Sizzix border. I hope to get better at this blogging this year. Anyone have any tips for learning please send them to me. Eve
